PET Resin
１．Features
  • Since PET resin has excellent transparency and strength, as well as good gas barrier performance, it is mainly used as the base material for PET bottle.
  • Our company actively promotes PET resin that does not use any metallic antimony as the catalyst used for manufacturing, since this substance faces various regulations and its oxide is designated as deleterious substance. Our resin is particularly suitable for beverage bottles filled or sold after heating, bottles for acidic beverage, and bottles frequently used by babies or elderly people.
  • In addition to the grades using common germanium catalyst, we newly developed the grades using titanium catalyst, and obtained good reputation. Titanium is convenient for stable procurement since it is not a precious metal like germanium, and it is so sanitary as being used for dental treatment, and its used quantity is small. From these advantages, PET resin using titanium is more safely used by customers compared with PET resin using antimony catalyst.
  • For use in heat-resistant bottle, we have prepared the grade capable of increasing the productivity of bottle molding through enhancing crystallization speed compared with standard resin.

  • Japan: Conforms to the various notifications of Food Sanitation Act, and conforms to the positive list of Japan Hygienic Olefin and Styrene Plastics Association.
